- Restore readable multilingual text.
- Check a URL-encoding round trip.
How to use it
- Paste the encoded component.
- Choose Decode and inspect the restored text.

Input and output example
Input
hello%20world%20%26%20status%3Dready
Output
hello world & status=ready
Important details
- Malformed percent sequences or invalid encoded text produce an error.
- A literal + remains +; this is not a full form-urlencoded parser.
- Decoding does not visit the resulting URL.
Frequently asked questions
Will the tool open the decoded address?
No. It only produces text, without requesting or visiting the address.
Why is a plus sign not changed into a space?
A plus-to-space conversion belongs to form encoding. Component decoding preserves literal plus signs.
