About this tool
Create a scannable PNG for text or a URL without sending the content to a server. Encoding runs in a local browser Worker, with explicit UTF-8 handling for multilingual text.

Important details
- Content is limited to 2,000 UTF-8 bytes; Chinese and emoji may use several bytes each.
- A QR code is a readable encoding, not encryption; consider who will be able to scan it.
- After page resources load, generation can continue offline; preview scaling does not reduce the downloaded PNG dimensions.
Frequently asked questions
Is QR content uploaded to ConviaHub?
No. The website tool encodes content locally and the old website submission route has been removed.
Can it encode Chinese or emoji?
Yes. Non-ASCII content uses UTF-8 with an explicit encoding indicator; downloaded images are checked by an actual decoder during testing.
